Self Care Spotlight - Mitty

Hi There!
My name is Mitty, and around here I do a few things,
I mainly take care of all the cute IG posts on CupquakeHQ! Oh, and have you seen all those adorable PR packages? Yup, I usually put all those together and send them out too!
I hope everyone is okay during the quarantine. I know that this is a scary situation, and just so you all know, this is new to everyone, and we are all doing our very best, and that’s honestly all we can do. The most important thing is that we take it day by day.
Here are some tips I can offer to ease your mind a bit,
Limit your intake on news media outlets, I know it’s important to know what’s happening, but checking it too often can have some adverse effects on your mental well-being. I usually get my information in the morning and keep away for the rest of the day and focus on other things.
I have been choosing to focus my energy by getting creative! That’s when I feel most happy and at peace with myself and the world around me. I made these super cute bracelets with positive word affirmations on them. I’ve been wearing them to give myself little reminders throughout the day. I also made extra and sent them to friends and family to help aid in their Self-care & Love.
On top of being creative, I’ve also been squeezing in a lot of time on Animal Crossing and escaping to a little world; I can make all my own. I’ve been a huge fan since New Leaf, and getting to play New Horizons, especially at such a sensitive time, has truly been a blessing in disguise!
I deal with a lot of anxiety, and New Leaf, on many occasions, has been there to help aid in easing my mind, and of course, New Horizons has been there to do the same!
It’s such a relaxing game to play! You can dive into it and get lost for hours talking to villagers, transforming your island, watering your flowers, creating cute DIY’s, the possibilities are endless! This game holds a very special place in my heart, and there’s no doubt in my mind it wouldn’t do the same for you. You should consider giving it a try if you haven't already!
I hope I’ve given you some words of comfort and some ideas to create during these scary times. Above all else, Stay Home, Stay Safe, and Take care. ️
Hearts & Stars,
