Bit Trip Runner: Rainbow Rice Krispie Treats

Hey Everyone! Today I wanted to make something rainbow so I decided to make some Bit Trip Runner Rice Krispie Treats!

Let’s get started!

You’re going to need some Rice Krispie Treats cereal

And Some marshmallows (Large or small)

We’re going to dye the Rice Krispie Treats rainbow colors – we’re going to use jello colors for this. Grape for the purple, Cherry lemonade for the pink, Berry blue for the blue, Lemon for the yellow, And Mango for the orange (8 serving size for all)

If you don’t want to buy each individual jello package, you can dye it with food coloring but the jello adds a nice fruity flavor to it

Next, get a sauce pan and set the heat to low. Put a tbsp of butter with a cup of marshmallows and melt together. Add a tsp of milk also. I added shortening to the spatula so the marshmallows don’t stick.

After the butter and marshmallows are melted, pour a small amount of jello mixture into the pan. I actually also added a small amount of food coloring to add more color into the mix

Once the color is thoroughly mixed, remove from heat and add a cup of rise krispies to the mix until the color is even throughout

Now place the final mixture into a bowl/pan that is sprayed with non stick cooking oil

Press it down flat into the container and repeat for each of the colors

Once all the layers are combined, it should look something like this

Now take a knife and slice your Rice Krispie into individual servings

Now we’re going to ice Commander Video with black royal icing! Start with a rectangle for his body and add his legs/arms

And a white rectangle for his eyes

We’re all done! We now have Bit Trip Runner Rainbow Rice Krispie Treats! One thing I would’ve done differently is add more jello/food coloring to make the colors brighter. If you try this QnB, tweet me an image at @ihascupquake
