Hey Everyone! Today I’m going to be baking a cake of our favorite little robot from Adventure Time … BMO!
To start, let’s bake some cake using these rectangular mini cake pans
After the cake is done baking, let’s level off the top and the sides
After the cutting is done, you should have a cake that stands on its own
Now, it’s time to ice our little guy!
After you ice it, put it in the fridge to chill for a while
You should prepare all your fondant colors at this point. We’ll apply the blue fondant on BMO’s body first. Gently apply it, going inch by inch
Flatten the edges and cut off the excess fondant
Let’s cut out BMO’s D-pad
Light green fondant for his face
Some of his circle buttons
Some blue triangle buttons
And his little arms/legs
Now, let’s make 7 indentations for the speakers BMO has on the sides of his head
Grab a blue edible marker and write ‘BMO’ on his sides. Next, you’ll want to start placing his face and various buttons with icing
Now add some more details with your blue marker. Afterwards, lift up his body and place his legs. Ice and attach his arms in the negative space in the ‘O’ in ‘BMO’. Grab a black edible marker and draw in his face
We’re almost done! Grab your green edible marker and add his cartridge slot. And finally, make a little controller out of blue/black fondant
Voila! These little BMO cakes came out adorable! Leave a comment in the video for what you think I should make next week! If you decide to try this QnB, tweet me an image at @ihascupquake
Thanks for watching!
