Recently Red and I noticed caterpillars in our back yard and we decided to help them grow by planting plants and giving them leaves to feed on. We noticed that they had taken into their chrysalis phase and we were so excited because we were able to capture the final stage of the process with our GoPro!
Neither of us has ever witnessed this process before — it’s SO AMAZING!
We captured some great video and pictures before they flew away. We could not have planned this any better because the butterflies emerged at almost the exact same time!!! You can see more photos over at tiffyquake.com and you can watch the time lapse in the video below. Enjoy!
